Women's DBT Meditation & Skills Group. Wednesdays at 12:00. Mesa
Hello! My name is Megan Eberhardt, and I am a graduate student at Walden University, working towards my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As part of this program, I am completing my clinical internship.
I chose to become a counselor because I wanted to help people in a deeper and more meaningful way than I could with the tools I previously had. I particularly enjoy working with children. While I’ve always known that I wanted to give back and support others, the path to doing so has evolved over the years. My goal as a counselor is to help facilitate growth and provide the insight my clients may need. Therapy has made a positive impact on my life, and it would be an honor to be part of your journey, even if it’s in the smallest way. As an intern, I am under the direct supervision of Julia Spain.
I was born and raised in New Jersey, where I lived until heading to Bradley University in Peoria, IL, to earn my Bachelor of Science. After graduation, I moved to Kansas City and worked as a Behavioral Health Technician for three years before relocating to Arizona in October 2023. Outside of work and study, I enjoy baking, listening to country music, paddleboarding, traveling, spending time in nature, and watching movies. I also love sports, whether I’m attending live events or cheering for my favorite teams from the couch. Go Chiefs!
